A Thoughtful Admissions Process
Our admissions process is designed to help us get to know your child and not just review an application. Each step gives us the opportunity to learn about your child's strengths, interests, and learning style while helping your family determine whether Mead is a good match.
Our team is here to guide you through the process and answer your questions every step of the way.

How We Evaluate Applicants
At Mead, we're not looking for perfect students. We're looking for children who will thrive in our community.
Our admissions process is holistic because we know that no single test score, report card, or interview tells the whole story. We want to understand who your child is today—and who they have the potential to become.
In our Early Learning Center (Infants–Age 4), we consider each child's developmental readiness, personality, curiosity, and social-emotional growth within Mead's nurturing, play-based environment.
In Kindergarten through Grade 8, we consider each child's academic readiness, learning style, character, and how they engage with new ideas, challenges, and others in a collaborative learning community.
Timing
