Application Process Overview

Infants - Preschool

Pre-K & Kindergarten

Schedule a campus tour Admissions
Complete the Mead School Application and submit $50 application fee by February 1.
Schedule your parent interview
Schedule student visit to Pre-K or K.
Submit the following paperwork:
- Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
- Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten Teacher Recommendation Form if applicable
- Transcript Release Form

Grades 1 - 4

Schedule a campus tour
Complete the Mead School Application and submit $50 application fee by February 1.
Schedule your parent interview
Schedule a student visit for your child to meet a member of our admissions team and visit the classroom.
Submit paperwork
- Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
- Grades 1 - 4 Teacher Recommendation Form
- State Testing Grades 3 &4 (Smarter Balanced or New York State Assessment)
- Transcript Release Form
- Co-Curricular Recommendation Form (Optional)

Grades 5 - 8

Register for ISEE exam: www.erblearn.org (optional)
--Submit ISEE results to The Mead School.
Submit paperwork:

Student Questionnaire
Grades 5-8 Math and English Teacher Recommendation Forms
State Testing (Smarter Balanced or New York State Assessment)
Transcript Release Form
Co-Curricular Recommendation Form (Optional)
Writing Sample - graded English or History writing sample from the current school year.
