Applying to The Mead School

We are really excited that you are ready to take the step to apply for your child to join The Mead School.  A world of exciting learning opportunities stand before them, and we can't wait to get started!

Before we get to the fun stuff though, there are the inevitable forms to be completed and processes that need to be followed.  The application process differs slightly according to the age of your child and the Grade - or ELC group - they will be joining.  We have detailed the process in the tabs below, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us - we'll be happy to help.

Places at The Mead School are limited and our annual Admissions Deadline is approaching -
please ensure all forms for Pre-K to Grade 8 applications are completed and with us by February 1, 2019
to be included for consideration for 2019 admission. Details and application links are in tabs below.

The Early Learning Center has year-long rolling admissions with no deadline - click here to apply to our ELC. 
 


 

Application Process Details by Grade
 

Pre-K - Grade 2

  1. Schedule campus tour and parent interview with the Director of Admissions & Community Relations, Joanne Costello
     
  2. Complete the Mead School Application and submit $50 application fee
     
  3. Schedule student visit to Pre-K, or K-2 (1.5 Hours for Pre-K, Half-Day Visit for K, Full-Day Visit for Grades 1-2)
     
  4. Submit paperwork

Grades 3 & 4

  1. Schedule campus tour and parent interview with the Director of Admissions & Community Relations, Joanne Costello
     
  2. Complete the Mead School Application and submit $50 application fee
     
  3. Schedule a full day student visit for your child to meet with Joanne, and visit the classroom from 8:40am – 3:30pm
     
  4. Submit paperwork

Grades 5 - 8

  1. Schedule campus tour and parent interview with the Director of Admissions & Community Relations, Joanne Costello
     
  2. Complete the Mead School Application and submit $50 application fee
     
  3. Schedule a full day student visit for your child to meet with Joanne, and visit the classroom from 8:40am – 3:30pm
     
  4. Register for ISEE exam: www.erblearn.org
    • The Mead School is administering the ISEE test on December 2, 2018. Other schools offer additional dates. ISEE results must be at Mead by February 1, 2019.
       
  5. Submit paperwork
