The Home Center Model

At the heart of the Mead School experience lies the Home Center model, a distinct approach that cultivates a strong sense of belonging and  connection among students, teachers, and families. Within each carefully crafted Home Center, students from two grade levels are united under the guidance of a dedicated Home Center Director (HCD).

The HCD plays a pivotal role in fostering the social-emotional growth of each student, serving as a constant source of support and guidance. As the main point of contact between the school and families, the HCD works collaboratively to ensure every child is understood, nurtured, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

A Commitment to Each Student

This unique model creates an environment where students feel seen, heard, and loved throughout their entire school day. It's a testament to the Mead School's commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience and is truly the essence of what makes our school so special.
