The Art Center buzzed with activity last week as students, faculty, and parents cut and sewed bags made from donated fabric. Adam's Recycled Tote Bag Workshop brought attention to the threat that plastic bags pose to the environment, and how each of us can make a difference! We made close to 80 bags and the students and staff will continue to make bags until we run out of fabric.

K-8 Trip to Ward Pound Ridge
Each fall, Mead students participate in a variety of traditions celebrating the changing of the seasons. On the 31st, students in Grades K-8 traveled to Ward Pound Ridge Reservation for their annual day of hiking, games and bonding.
