The Art Center buzzed with activity last week as students, faculty, and parents cut and sewed bags made from donated fabric. Adam's Recycled Tote Bag Workshop brought attention to the threat that plastic bags pose to the environment, and how each of us can make a difference! We made close to 80 bags and the students and staff will continue to make bags until we run out of fabric.

Beekeeper and past parent Ray DuBois '13 spoke this week with Pre-K through Grade 2 students and staff about the life cycle of the honey bee and its importance to our environment. Students were amazed by the facts Ray presented and asked thoughtful, insightful questions. Students were able to closely inspect a live honeybee hive after the main presentation.
