The Art Center buzzed with activity last week as students, faculty, and parents cut and sewed bags made from donated fabric. Adam's Recycled Tote Bag Workshop brought attention to the threat that plastic bags pose to the environment, and how each of us can make a difference! We made close to 80 bags and the students and staff will continue to make bags until we run out of fabric.

The 6th grade Marine Science class traveled to Cape Cod after Memorial Day as part of the last phase of their science curriculum. This yearly trip is the capstone of their 6th Grade year and filled with activities devised to enhance their study of the whaling industry and history. Museum visits, a spectacular whale watch on the ocean and beach excursions are just some of the activities that kept them busy.
