Applying for your child

Our application process differs slightly according to the age of your child and the grade they will be joining. For your reference, the steps of the process are outlined within the sections below by grade level.

Simply click on the "Start your Application" button below to begin. You will be prompted to set up your Mead enrollment portal account which will lead you through the Admissions process from Application to Enrollment.

Application Process Overview

Infants - Preschool

Pre-K - Grade 2

Schedule a campus tour with the Assistant Head of School for Admissions & Community Relations, Joanne Costello
Complete the Mead School Application and submit $50 application fee.
Schedule your parent interview with the Assistant Head of School for Admissions & Community Relations, Joanne Costello.
Schedule student visit to Pre-K, or K, 1st, or 2nd grades.
Submit the following paperwork:
- Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
- Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten Teacher Recommendation Form
- Grades 1 - 4 Teacher Recommendation Form
- Transcript Release Form

Grades 3 - 4

Schedule a campus tour with the Assistant Head of School for Admissions & Community Relations, Joanne Costello
Complete the Mead School Application and submit $50 application fee.
Schedule your parent interview with the Assistant Head of School for Admissions & Community Relations, Joanne Costello.
Schedule a student visit for your child to meet with Joanne, and visit the classroom.

Grades 5 - 8

Schedule an appointment for your child to meet with Joanne, and visit the classroom for a half-day.
Register for ISEE exam: www.erblearn.org
--Submit ISEE results to The Mead School.

Grades 5-8 Math Teacher Recommendation Form
Grades 5-8 English Teacher Recommendation Form
Transcript Release Form
