Updates as of September 10, 2021

The Mead School's interpretation of current health guidance and the school's related policies have a singular goal - to do all that we possibly can to return our school experience to pre-pandemic normalcy, while ensuring utmost safety. Please bear this in mind as you review what follows, and please know that we hope and even anticipate that all this may change at any point during the year.

ON VACCINATIONS:
The Mead School is STRONGLY recommending, but not formally requiring, vaccinations for all age-eligible students and faculty, while following any/all legal, religious, and medical exemptions, should they apply.

ON COHORTING:
As of September 2021 normal class and Home Center routines have resumed, with students and faculty freely moving about the building.  This is a relaxation of some of the 2020-21 COVID-19 mitigations to the extent that regulations permit.

SEE BELOW FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

We are proud that thanks to careful planning and excellent infrastructure, we were able to be open for the entire 2020-21 school year.Peter Herzberg, Interim Head of School
