Mead Wrapped in Poetry - Video Feature
April is National Poetry Month, a time to celebrate poets and their craft. A long-standing annual Mead school tradition, "Wrapping our school" with poetry, has always taken place on the main school stairway. Like many events this year, we re-envisioned our format and literally wrapped the outside of the building in poems by hanging them with clothespins on twine.
Students in the 3-5 center also celebrated by chosing one of their poems to paint on canvas during art block with Adam.
