Light & Life Week Brings Joy

Light & Life Week Brings Joy

Each year leading up to winter break the K-8 students and faculty celebrate Mead's decades-long tradition of Light & Life with staff-led workshops. Our faculty created workshops that were fun and engaging, and allowed students to learn new skills, take risks, make new friends, and have lots of fun.

Special thanks to Amy Parker for her diligent planning, and to all of the staff who conducted such meaningful and fun workshops!

The week culminated with Thursday's Light & Life performance in the Canning Family Theatre for the Performing Arts, where students indulged an audience of families, alumni, faculty, and friends with a variety of acts they had been working on for the evening. Mead's tech crew did a fabulous job running the show! From singing to sword swallowing, the performances set a perfectly joyful tone to lead us into our winter break.

Enjoy a video HERE of our full community singing "Winter is Here" and "It's in Every One of Us" to conclude the performance last night. Additional photos from the week are HERE.
