Light & Life Preparations Underway

This week the Sound & Light Tech students were enthusiastically working hard in preparation for the Light & Life Sharing Celebration which will take place on Friday, December 17th for an audience of students and staff here on campus. 

In Sound Tech at Mead, children learn how to use and maintain our sound equipment in the auditorium, and they run performances by being a Soundboard Operator or a member of the Backstage Crew.

Mead's Light Tech program provides an opportunity for students to learn and have experience in all aspects of theatrical backstage and lighting production. Students learn stage management skills, how to program and run a lightboard, as well as how to use and run a spotlight. The Mead School Tech student takes on the responsibility of all backstage and technical aspects for the productions on our main stage.
