K-1-2 Art Featured at The Ferguson Library

Our Kindergarten-Grade 2 students studied the work of Matisse this month during art class, and worked on re-creating his masterpiece, The Goldfish. Using paper, paint, scissors and glue, the students recreated the painting in their own style during their art classes with Art Curriculum Director, Adam Ellyson. The fruits of their labor can be seen in this video capturing the exhibit currently on display at The Ferguson Library. Better yet, go and see the exhibit in person! The Library regularly features student art from Stamford schools.
