Stamford History Center Visits Grades 2-4

On Wednesday, the Stamford History Center visited with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades social studies class to present their program titled, "Time Travelers". This program melded perfectly with the students' current study of the history of Stamford.
The program leader provided hands-on materials for the students, allowing the class to experience Stamford through time using a colorful walk-on map, dozens of manipulatives, and economic artifacts. Students learned the history, economics, and geography of Stamford through participatory storytelling.
