Seventh & Eighth Grades Trip to Fairgate Farm

On Tuesday our 7th and 8th grades students took a trip to Fairgate Farm, a volunteer-driven farm located on the West Side of Stamford whose mission is: "to increase access to locally grown produce and to strengthen the community by celebrating healthy food through gardening, educational and harvest-related initiatives. The Farm provides volunteer and educational opportunities to individuals, schools, companies, and community organizations to connect residents with their local food system, promote environmental stewardship, and build community cohesion."

Students learned about what it means to be "Organic" and how we can all do our part to create a healthier planet and improve our overall health with good food and nature.
