6-8 Basketball Team Plays Hard at Eagle Hill School

After a 2-year pandemic hiatus, Mead's 6-8 Basketball team played its first game of the season yesterday at Eagle Hill's home court. Frank Pollifrone, Physical Development Curriculum Director, has been gearing the team up for the season and the students were very excited to play in this game.

According to Frank, "We have a very new team and went into the Eagle Hill game a little on the cautious and anxious side, however, Mead started the game off 6-0 and it was unbelievable! Our team battled hard and there were many teachable moments that helped build the team's confidence."

While Mead lost by 10 points, this game was cause for celebration - and are very proud of the kiddos. Thank you to the families who came out to cheer on the team. The support in the stands was phenomenal.

The team plays its next game at Mead vs. Pierrepont School on Tuesday, January 24th at 4:00PM.
