Annual K-8 Trip to Ward Pound Ridge
Mead students participate in a variety of traditions celebrating the changing of the seasons throughout the year. Faculty and students traditionally take a day at the end of October to celebrate the fall season and nature. On the brilliantly gorgeous Friday prior to Halloween, students in Grades K-8 traveled to Ward Pound Ridge Reservation for a day of adventure, hiking, games, food and bonding.
The group spent time on the hiking trails where they met special surprise guests along the way. Everyone convened on the lawn afterward for a lunch of baked potatoes and toppings and an afternoon of sun, fun and games.
