Welcome to the Pre-K Center
4 - 5+ years
Mead's Pre-K curriculum provides students with a wide and stimulating range of hands-on, enjoyable learning experiences through play. At this age, students become active listeners and participants in their own learning.
SPECIALS
In Pre-K, students work in collaboration with different program specialists in Music, Physical Development, Drama, and Spanish, providing opportunities to practice a variety of important skills and to explore new spaces and materials.
What to Expect
Although children follow predictable patterns of development, the rate, pace and actual manifestation of any skill are unique to all children. Teachers spend time getting to know each and every child. They create developmentally appropriate goals for the classroom as a whole, and tailor learning opportunities for individual students.
