The Mead School

Fees & Tuition

We believe that Mead students are truly shaped by the experiences they have here; the connections they make and the lessons they learn. We cannot tell you what lies ahead for your child and their futures, but we can tell you that choosing a Mead education is an investment that could make all the difference.

Choosing The Mead School for your child is about much more than giving them the opportunity of a great education - it's an investment in their journey from childhood to adult.

All children come to Mead with potential, and it is our job to ensure that they leave us with not only that potential being realized, but with purpose, passion, and a love of learning that will serve them the rest of their lives.

Philanthrophy

As is the case at most independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of a child’s education.

Families at the Mead School are asked annually to support the Annual Fund - the proceeds of which go to support a portion of the operating budget, and to enrich programs throughout the school.

Participation in the Annual Fund is as important as the actual dollars raised. Percent Annual Fund Participation is an important measure used when applying for grants. Every dollar and every member of the community matters. Donations to the Annual Fund are voluntary and tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Financial Aid

Financing an independent school education is an important investment, and we understand that not every family is able to make this type of commitment without financial assistance.

The Mead School offers need-based financial aid beginning in Kindergarten. Families must apply annually.

The financial aid application process is separate from the Mead School application process and applying for financial aid will not prejudice an application for admission.

Please see our Financial Aid page for more information.
