The Mead School Financial Aid program is designed to make a Mead education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. The Mead School uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. The Mead School financial aid program is not a loan based program and you will not have to repay the granted money.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete and is mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.
Prospective and current families seeking financial assistance are asked to submit an application through Clarity. The deadline for completing the tuition assistance application including relevant supplemental documents is December 15 for current families and February 1 for prospective families.
Financial Aid applications received after the due date will be reviewed on a funds-available basis.
If you need assistance along the way, comprehensive guides to the financial aid application are available in both English and Spanish. In-app support is available through the “Help” button in the lower-left corner of the application. You may also attend a Family Application Webinar held by Clarity on Tuesday, December 10. For additional assistance in both English and Spanish email support@claritytuition.com or call (206) 210-3752.
