Infant Care

We know how difficult it can be to separate from your child for the first time. That’s why we are dedicated to providing a warm, supportive environment; one that will serve as a home away from home for both child and family.

Why do families love Mead's Infant Program?

Year-Round Dependability

To provide your family with the most flexibility, our doors open at 6:15 am and close at 6:00 pm. Our program is in session September through August. We close for federal holidays, Winter Break and program development.

Flexible Scheduling

We offer a variety of enrollment options. Talk to us about your specific needs and we’ll help find the option that’s best for you.

Bright & Spacious Classrooms

Our architecture and interior design reflect an openness that encourages exploration and discovery. Spacious classrooms and engaging materials evolve with the children, supporting optimum growth and development every step of the way. The Infant Center is specifically designed with a separate nap room, so that cribs don’t interfere with valuable play space. Plenty of room is also available to store individual supplies and personal belongings.

Engaging Curriculum

Social-emotional development is the heart of infancy. It affects all other domains and lays the foundation for healthy development. Our responsive and caring teachers work to create rich, trusting relationships with each and every child. They understand early childhood growth and development and use this knowledge to plan and pace the day. They believe that every child has his and her own unique rhythm and honor individual interests, feeding and nap schedules. By ensuring a sense of belonging, the Infant Center sets the stage for a positive sense of self and a successful transition into the toddler years.

Exceptional Teachers

Our experienced teaching staff is dedicated to each and every child. Our teachers understand the importance of relationships and create an environment where children feel safe, valued and empowered. This includes helping each child move from the small culture of the home to the still small, but significantly larger society of the classroom.

Our Infant teaching team represents over 30 years of early childhood experience. Each teacher contributes a unique set of skills and perspectives. They believe parents/guardians are meaningful partners, and are eager to understand family values and support cultural continuity between home and school.
