It was a very exciting day to be at school on Wednesday, as students and staff anticipated the Inauguration of our 46th President, Joseph R. Biden, and the first woman, the first Black American, and the first South Asian American, Kamala Harris, take the oath of office as our Vice President. Students in grades 3-8 were able to watch the Inauguration live with their peers and teachers.
The staff reflected on historical moments that they remembered having the opportunity to watch as students at school. Their hope was for the event to be as memorable and educational a day for the students, and they were honored to share this moment in history with them!
