Students Apply Quadratic Skills Using New Analytic Tool

This week, Nancy Seeds' Algebra students focused on applying their skills to problems involving gravity and falling objects. They combined ALL their quadratic skills -- old and new -- to analyze one aspect of juggling. 

Jeremy Grob, Music Curriculum Director, provided the class with a short video of his very own juggling to analyze. 

The screen shots featured here show 2 students' work collecting data with a new Vernier Video Analyisis tool, which allowed them to simulate the type of data collection typically done with sensors at school.  Students then analyzed their data with a desktop TI-84 graphing calculator.
