The 6th-8th Grades students and faculty had a wonderful day re-creating their traditional Pound Ridge experience, albeit during one of our more windswept days of autumn! The day's activities included the magical fortune-telling skills of visiting seer Madame VonLiptenschtein, dangling donuts, with some of the 8th Graders practicing their negotiating skills (trying to wrangle the last donuts from Madame), and a movie in the language arts room, because it was just much too cold and windy to be outside! The traditional firepit had to be eliminated due to the high winds, but the baked potato lunch was able to be saved by using the oven in the Head of School House. Students waited until Friday to culminate the event with their "Wishes for the World".
