Grades 6-8 Executive Functioning Class

Grades 6-8 students continued "learning how to learn" this week during executive function activities. This month they are participating in discussions about feelings and strategies regarding procrastination and task initiation.

Students took the words of Desmond Tutu literally, "There is only one way to eat an elephant, a bite at a time." They made small clay elephants with bites missing to place by their work stations to remind them that when the task is daunting, it can be broken down one bite/step at a time!
