 | CHILD CARE PROGRAM
The Mead School Child Care Program is deeply committed to providing an educationally and developmentally appropriate program for all. We work hard each year to tailor the structure of our program and staff in a way that best meets the diversity of needs that exist within our community.
The first step in this process is to assess these needs. As we look at the constellation of children and families enrolled for each program year, it is always our goal to be as responsive as possible to the information we gather and shape the structure of our program accordingly. As a result, various aspects of any center can shift from year to year. This fluidity is one of our greatest assets. We know that children progress in predictable stages. However, each child does so at their own rate and in their own unique way. Children within the same age range are not expected to arrive at each developmental milestone at the same time or master the same skill with the same degree of proficiency. As a result, children in each center will reflect a range of development. Goals and objectives for each child are then tailored to suit the individual. Our groups include Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers.

Hours of Operation
6:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday-Friday
We are open for 50 weeks September-August. We are not in session for one week in December and one week in August. This time is not included in our yearly enrollment contracts.

Please note that we close at 4:00 p.m., two to three times per year, for staff
development purposes.
Enrollment
Our program enrolls a total of 66 children on a daily basis ranging in age from 6 weeks to 5 years. We offer both full and part time enrollment options either 2, 3 or 5 days per week.
