Position(s) Available: Toddler Teacher

Program:  Preschool

 

The Mead School, Stamford's premier progressive school, is looking for an experienced Early Childhood teacher to work with  2 to  3 year old age children.

 

Experience: 3+ year's relevant experience in Early Childhood Education.

 

Knowledge: Should possess sound understanding of early childhood growth and development, curriculum planning, positive guidance techniques and room arrangement.

 

Personality: Have a professional manner, enjoy detail work and be very organized. Candidates must be able to take direction well and be quick to learn. Should possess a strong positive energy and communicate well with others. Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, trustworthy and maintain strict confidentiality standards.

 

Duties: Include but are not limited to: working in collaboration with teaching team to establish and maintain a physically safe, clean and healthy learning environment that provides a developmentally appropriate and anti-biased curriculum and supports each child's emotional, social, cognitive, creative and physical development.

 

Education: CDA minimum requirement. Associate/Bachelor's Degree (completed/underway) in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

 

Position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. Competitive salary and benefits.

Associate Teacher position is available immediately.
